Free shipping essentially knocks nearly 15% off of an item that I’ve never seen go on sale. Not bad, though the buckle appears to be stitched-in, as opposed to being detachable like their out-of-stock English plaque belt. Even without free shipping, this belt was already the most affordable engine-turned buckle belt available online until a few hours ago. Rugby’s is double the price, and Ralph Lauren’s triple for just the buckle. Even on eBay I saw two of these go for over $70 a piece in the past few days. I say “until a few hours ago” because Lands’ End Canvas introduced their own this morning for $39.50, along with thirty other new arrivals for Fall. More on that in a bit. I’ve been in search of a good plaque belt for a minute, and that’s a good deal, but it’s a little too thin for my liking.
